Elizabeth Randall Winkle
Senior Vice President, CoStar Product
Elizabeth Randall Winkle, Senior VP of CoStar Product, is responsible for the product enhancements, features and tools that ensure continued customer growth and success of the enterprise’s commercial offerings. She was promoted to the position in August 2022 after 14 years in leadership positions with STR, the global hospitality benchmarking leader acquired by CoStar Group in 2019.
Randall Winkle served as STR’s Chief Strategy Officer for five years and was responsible for the development and execution of the organization’s strategic initiatives. Prior to her time as CSO, she served as the first Managing Director for the company’s international business, headquartered in London, with responsibility for global expansion, strategy and operations outside of North America. Under her leadership, the international business grew participation by more than 250% to 18,000 hotels and established itself as the preeminent hotel benchmarking and data analytics firm outside of North America. Randall Winkle also previously served as Director of Operations overseeing the post-acquisition systems conversion and operations after STR acquired Deloitte’s Hotelbenchmark and The Bench.
While with STR, Randall Winkle was invited to take part in the Dean's Distinguished Lecture Series (DDLS) at the Cornell School of Hotel Administration (SHA) and at Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL). In 2015, she delivered the Commencement Address at Hong Kong Polytechnic School of Hotel and Tourism Management.
Randall Winkle serves as Chair for the International Business Council of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and as a member of the Research & Funding Committee for the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHL). She has served in a variety of leadership roles, including Chair, for the International Society Hospitality Consultants (ISHC).
Randall Winkle is a 2007 recipient of the World Council of Credit Unions’ (WOCCU) Young Credit Union Professional Award and represented the organization on a Cooperative Learning Tour in Ecuador. In 2006, she was honored with the Callifornia Credit Union League’s Tomorrow’s Star award.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University.
